Azek Pavers are not your typical concrete pavers
AZEK composite masonry is the first composite material in the world, made almost entirely of recycled materials with the physical strength, durability and natural appearance to replace concrete. Composite masonry utilizes up to 95% post-consumer recycled materials (scrap tires and plastics), requires 94% less energy and releases 96% less carbon dioxide than concrete blocks during the manufacturing process.
Azek utilizes a grid system which is laid out upon a flat and stable surface. Once in place, the pavers are locked into the grid. The grid ensures that the pavers are correctly spaced.
After the joints are filled with small pebbles, they can handle almost anything nature can present. Azek pavers have been independently tested at an infiltration rate of over 480 inches per hour. The flexible grid system ensures that they will move and not crack in the event of an earthquake.
